I'm not perfect I have faults too!!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying everything that has happened between Bradley and I in the past was his fault. I had my mistakes too. One of my biggest faults was ever since Owen was born (Almost 3 years) I put Bradley on the back burner for him. I know that was wrong and I couldn't help it. After working all week all I wanted to do was be with my kiddo. Going through a divorce and having almost all married friends and listening to them complain about their spouse made me realize Bradley & I did have problems, but they weren't big enough for divorce. I have learned you can't just pack up your things and run from your problems. Although I wish Bradley and I would of went to God instead of going to a lawyer, at the same time I'm thankful for our divorce because it has changed everything completely. If your reading this and your going through a divorce or thinking about it ask yourself if your problems are big enough for divorce. No problem is too big for God!'

 One morning Bradley and I were texting about Owen then the conversation took a quick turn to how Bradley wanted his family back. He said he had watched the movie Heaven is for real and he had a dream that him, Owen and myself were a family again and we were in church living right. Pray. Wait. Trust.

We have all heard it--  Pray. Wait. Trust. Much easier said than done, right?  It's easy to pray but when you talk about waiting and trusting that's a little harder. Especially if it's not in "our" timeline. For the past year & a half I have prayed for a job closer to my family (I drive 35 mins to work each day) I tried waiting & trusting. Then I tried putting it back in my own hands. (That didn't work!!) Finally, I prayed and trusted that when the time was right God would send something my way. Before Christmas break I was offered a job 25 mins closer to home. I was unsure at first what to do & if this was God's will or if this was my doings. I prayed more & I decided to take the job.  January 3rd was my first day. I walked in the office & went to my room and one of the first things I noticed was my mouse pad. Tomorrow is my LAST Friday to spend with my son before he  starts Kindergarten next week. Every Friday since he has been born we have spent together. That's about 240 Friday's that have always been our day- whether  it was being lazy or staying busy all day we were always together.  I knew this day was coming & I have dreaded it from day one. It seems just like yesterday we were bringing Owen home from the hospital- First time parents, having no clue what to do or where to even start. And now we are getting ready to send him to Kindergarten.  How does time go by so fast? I am amazed at the young man Owen has grown into. I may be a little biased but he is the smarted, most handsome, funniest little boy. He strives to make someone laugh. He has the biggest heart & loves Jesus to the moon & back 250 times.
