The Lord's Will ✝️
It's been a while since I have blogged... life is so busy!! Nora Kate is about to be 9 months old, not sure how that is even possible!! Seems like just yesterday she was born. Owen is about to start Tee Ball & will be starting Kindegarten in August. Wow!
I have been wanting to get back to blogging for a while now but didn't know what to blog about other than my kids. This morning the Lord laid this on my heart so I must share.
My favorite bible scripture of all time is "You can make many plans, but the Lord's purpose will prevail." Proverbs 19:21
I have always been a control freak, I like to know every detail and have everything planned out. I get so caught up in life that I try to do everything on my own instead of asking God to show me the best way to go. As many of you know, for the past couple of years we have been planning on Owen going to a certain school. We were recently told that due to where we live he could not go to that school unless we moved into that school district. So with that being said- Owen will have to go to a smaller school for Kindergarten. Whenever we got the news my heart was broke. The whole point of Owen going to daycare where he does is because most his friends he had made would go to the same school. We thought about renting our house out and thought of any more options we could do to get him into that school. Then-- it was like a peace came over us.. I truly believe this was a sign from God to put Owen in a smaller school for Kindergarten, that way he can have more one on one learning. Although I'm sure there will be more times where I try to plan everything instead of letting God lead me, this is one thing God has full control over. We will soon be getting our house in tip top shape to put on the market. And wherever it's in the Lord's will for us to live, that's where we will live. ♥️
