One Year Down, Forever To Go!

Bradley & I have celebrated a few anniversaries together but today marks a special one. A year ago today Bradley & I got remarried and decided to restart our life together.  I would like to tell you it has been all butterflies and fairy tales but it hasn't. But I can tell you that our life together now is WAY better than any life we had 5 years ago. Today I am praising God for all the good and the bad times Bradley & I have been through-  It's hard to be appreciative when your going through a struggle. I don't remember one time thanking God for our divorce when we were going through it. Although I do remember thanking God for the divorce three months after it was final (when we started rebuilding our friendship/relationship). We wouldn't have made it this far without trusting in the Lord to help us center our marriage around him. Granted we both fail him daily- but that's just how amazing he is, God forgives us!  In the past I wasn't confident that we would make it. But since we have made our marriage & life right with God, now I can honestly say I am 100% confident that we are going to make it no matter what life throws at us! It's a remarkable feeling knowing that no matter what I always have you by my side Bradley Dale- I love you more than words can express and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't thank God for you & our life together. Happy Anniversary Babe!! I Love You!! ❤️

Tomorrow is my LAST Friday to spend with my son before he  starts Kindergarten next week. Every Friday since he has been born we have spent together. That's about 240 Friday's that have always been our day- whether  it was being lazy or staying busy all day we were always together.  I knew this day was coming & I have dreaded it from day one. It seems just like yesterday we were bringing Owen home from the hospital- First time parents, having no clue what to do or where to even start. Pray. Wait. Trust.

We have all heard it--  Pray. Wait. Trust. Much easier said than done, right?  It's easy to pray but when you talk about waiting and trusting that's a little harder. Especially if it's not in "our" timeline. For the past year & a half I have prayed for a job closer to my family (I drive 35 mins to work each day) I tried waiting & trusting. Then I tried putting it back in my own hands. (That didn't work!!) Finally, I prayed and trusted that when the time was right God would send something my way. Before Christmas break I was offered a job 25 mins closer to home. I was unsure at first what to do & if this was God's will or if this was my doings. I prayed more & I decided to take the job.  January 3rd was my first day. I walked in the office & went to my room and one of the first things I noticed was my mouse pad. Being Joyful

Tonight my devotion was on Joy, which was very fitting. Here lately I have prayed that God would help me find the JOY  in all things.  It's very easy for something to go wrong & then the pity party starts. Car trouble, problem at work, all kinds of daily struggles that deplete us. Our minds quickly start focusing on all the bad & forget all the good. God's love is endless. He is always there for us, No Matter What!!  Once we begin to follow God & trust in him, he will help us get through any storm and will help us  find Joy. Today I am thankful for the Joy I feel & I pray God surrounds me with it, fills me with it & helps me share it with others.  The lord your God will bless you in your harvest and in all the work of your hands, and your joy will be complete.
