A look into our week.

Back in February, I was offered a new job. I was skeptical to take the job at first. It would add ten minutes to my commute & it was more hours. I prayed about it and God showed me that I needed to take the job. It's been five months now and I absolutely love my job. I love the girls I work with, the dentist I work for, the patients. I just love what I do (clean teeth).
This past week our office was closed to celebrate the 4th of July. Ten day weekend!! Whoop whoop!! (That's another perk of the new job, we get vacations) I am so thankful to have a job that I love & a job that allows me off time to spend with Bradley & Owen. If I am off work, Owen doesn't go to daycare so I wanted to make this week with Owen as special as I could.
Fridays are mommy & Owen days.. I'm off on Fridays so we normally go shopping or hang by the pool. Or both.
Saturday July 4th- we had a cookout at our house for some of our closest friends & shot fireworks. Owen loved the fireworks and has shot sparklers all week long.
Sunday- was a sleep late kinda day. We ended up taking Owen to the park and letting him play. Which I'm glad we did because we found a splash pad that we never knew existed just 5 Minutes from our house.
Monday- Nana came over and we took Owen to the splash pad we had found the day before and then went home and played outside. All. Day. Long.
Tuesday- My dad, my granddaddy, and myself took Owen to the cow sale. It was perfect and he loved seeing all the cows. My heart melted spending the day with those three men. When I was younger I used to go to cow sale with my granddaddy so that's why it was so special to me.
Wednesday- Nana came over again & we had a pool party. Owen has turned into quite the little swimmer since we have had our pool. I'm really glad we got that so we can enjoy it together.
Thursday- Owen & I went to point mallard with one of my co-workers and her two kiddos. We all had a blast. I'm not sure who was more tired at the end of the day, the kiddos or the mommas.
Friday- Owen & I spent the day at home playing inside most of the day. After being at a water park all day Thursday we needed to stay inside out of the heat. Especially me, natural red head+water park= lobster!!
This week is slowly coming to an end. I plan on soaking up these last two days with Owen before it's back to reality and back to work & school.
