Hopeful Hoopers

Birthdays are a big thing to me. I always try to do it big and memorable, especially for Owen. He is only little once, right? Well Bradley's birthday was August 11th, I wanted to do something to show him we love him. The weekend before his birthday was the music festival in Albertville. We hung out with some of our friends from church all weekend and had Bradley a surprise birthday dinner with them Saturday night. The next day I planned a family dinner with both sides of the family at Top O' River... He loves that place!! Monday night Owen made Bradley a birthday card and a birthday cake, and Tuesday we woke Bradley up with his card and presents. Now that Bradley's birthday is in the books.. Last year, this weekend was when God started working in mine and Bradley's life. Bradley got rid of his girlfriend, decided he wanted his family back, and we started going to church. It was so hard to love him a year ago. Today as I look back at how far we have came, it's hard NOT to love him. Our life together is completely different now than it was before we gave up on our marriage. Without God we would of never made it this far and Lord knows we need him daily. This world is an awful place and the Devil will do anything to get at you. Even attacking your spouse and your marriage. Don't let the Devil win, turn to God and he will get you through anything. Never in a million years did I think I would be where I am today, and I'm thankful for that. It just goes to show there is always hope so just have faith. And never say never!!
